Welcome to the Producers’ Page. This website has been created by entertainment attorneys for the purpose of utilizing the Internet to help filmmakers obtain distribution for their films. Filmrep.com provides exposure for independent films and enables distributors to learn about specific films, view trailers or key scenes online, obtain screeners and ultimately negotiate distribution agreements. Filmrep.com will continuously target distributors with e-mail updates notifying them of recent film acquisitions, reviews and awards. Unlike most producer representatives and attorneys, we at filmrep.com have feature length film production experience. We understand the realities of independent film production and therefore are able to address and relate to the specific needs of our clients. HOW IT WORKS: 1. Click on the "Film Information" link and fill out the requested information. 2. After reviewing the data from the "Film Information" page, filmrep.com will contact you if your project meets the submission criteria. 3. If your film meets the submission criteria, filmrep.com will request a screener of the film. 4. If, after viewing the screener, filmrep.com believes it can help you obtain a distribution deal it will send you a Representation Agreement. 5. After signing the agreement you will send filmrep.com a copy of the executed agreement, screeners of your film, an electronic copy of the one sheet/still, and a video file of your film’s trailer or key scene. 6. After receiving the items listed above, filmrep.com will create an original film profile page specific to your film. The film profile page will include detailed information about your film and will enable distribution companies to view your trailer or key scene by clicking on your production still. If the distributor likes what it sees, upon request, filmrep.com will send the distributor a screener and hopefully obtain a distribution deal for you.
